Kurt Krautheim

Born and raised in the Philadelphia area, Kurt Krautheim has a background in civil disputes of all types, with particular experience in construction, fraud, contract, and business litigation.

In addition to handling civil disputes, Kurt advises business clients in legal matters ranging from the initial formation of their enterprises, to assisting them with their employment contracts, consulting agreements, vendor contracts, and trademark issues.

Through his litigation experience, Kurt has developed a strong understanding of the reasons why disputes arise and how they can be avoided through early intervention.  He works with domestic and international companies to identify key areas where litigation risk is high and develop practical strategies to mitigate or eliminate those risks. These strategies often include the design and implementation of effective employment and compliance policies, internal controls, and documentation procedures.

Before entering private practice, Mr. Krautheim worked for a complex litigation firm, assisting with class actions and commercial disputes in state and federal courts in New York, New Jersey, California, and Florida.

In his life prior to becoming a lawyer, Kurt served as adjunct professor of piano at a Florida college.

He is an avid jazz fan.
